As part of its sustainability and social responsibility initiatives, EMSA held a "Sustainability and Environment Day Event" in line with its "Shine a Light on the Future with Your Energy" project. This event was organized to spread EMSA's sustainability awareness throughout the community and to foster cultural and social consciousness in future generations.
The event took place at Eskişehir Çukurhisar Middle School, where 127 students received "Explore! Energy" books published by TÜBİTAK, which were collected by EMSA Group employees. Members of the Sustainability Committee, who were in attendance on June 20th, also gave wooden puzzles to the students. Additionally, EMSA Academy presented certificates of appreciation to the employees who participated in the social responsibility effort.
Furthermore, under the Zero Waste Project, EMSA has initiated waste sorting at its factories. By removing trash cans from offices and production areas and adopting the motto "With Our Energy, We Recycle Our Waste," the company aims to increase recycling rates and use resources more efficiently. This initiative is a resource management system designed to minimize environmental impact from waste generation to final disposal.
EMSA is continuing its sustainability efforts and plans to publish its first Sustainability Report by the end of this year. The report will cover all of the company's social, environmental, and governance (ESG) activities. This report will serve as a testament to EMSA's commitment to a sustainable future.
