As EMSA Group, we continue to share our work in line with our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) approach, adhering to the principle of transparency. The new issue of our Sustainability Bulletin, featuring new milestones in our sustainability journey, practices that strengthen our environmental performance, and projects that create social value, has been published.
In this issue, we are pleased to share with you significant developments in our sustainability journey, including the publication of the English version of our 2024 Sustainability Report, our water efficiency management efforts, our corporate sustainability awareness trainings, our activities within the scope of the International Zero Waste Day on March 30th, and our social responsibility projects carried out with the voluntary participation of our employees.
We are Moving Forward on the Path to Transparency and Global Accessibility
We have made the English version of our 2024 Sustainability Report, prepared to establish stronger communication with our international stakeholders, available to all our stakeholders. In this newsletter, we share our activities in the environmental, social, and governance fields throughout 2024 in line with international sustainability reporting approaches, while also resolutely continuing our sustainability reporting efforts for 2025.
We Aim for Efficiency in Water Consumption
We consider the efficient use of natural resources as one of the fundamental elements of our sustainability strategy. In this regard, we have initiated Water Efficiency Management studies at our EMSA Eskişehir Production Facility and NOVAFORM Machinery Production Facility, and we are continuing our work within the framework of our long-term 5-Year Water Efficiency Plan. We continue to strengthen our understanding of sustainable production with our practices aimed at effectively managing water consumption and reducing our environmental impacts.
We Strengthen Our Zero Waste Practices
On the occasion of International Zero Waste Day on March 30th, we once again highlighted our efforts supporting the circular economy approach. With the Zero Waste Project we are carrying out at our EMSA Eskişehir Production Facility and NOVAFORM Machinery Production Facility, we regularly monitor, separate, and recycle the waste generated. Thus, while contributing to the conservation of natural resources, we continue to resolutely support our sustainable production goals.
Building a Culture of Sustainability Together
We believe that our employees are the most important force in sustainable transformation. In this context, we aimed to increase the knowledge and awareness levels of our colleagues through Corporate Sustainability Awareness Trainings conducted in our companies within the EMSA Group. Following the trainings, we are further strengthening our sustainability culture by presenting certificates to 107 employees who demonstrated success in the evaluations through EMSA Academy.
Taking Steps Towards Our Social Responsibility
We evaluate sustainability not only through environmental performance but also through our contribution to society. In line with this understanding, our social responsibility projects, carried out with the participation of our volunteer employees, continue to increase. With the "There's Energy on This Stage!" event held at our EMSA Eskişehir Factory on June 5th, World Environment Day, we brought our employees together around the theme of sustainability, contributing to the strengthening of environmental awareness and the culture of volunteerism.
As EMSA Group, in line with our vision of "A Sustainable Future with Our Energy," we continue to develop practices that reduce our environmental impact, support employee participation, and create social value. With the support of our stakeholders, we continue our efforts to build a more livable world for future generations by making every step we take on our sustainability journey visible.
